Imagine WordPress, and Concrete are both cars. They will both do the basic thing which is get you from A to B. The difference is that when you want to change part of the car be it aesthetically or mechanically WordPress will have a world of interlocking problems. It has been designed and built around the user experience and that the WYSIWYG is not just an added piece. Many features have been thought of in an intelligent, simple and flexible way. You only need 3 lines of code to transform a simple HTML template into a CMS page. Concrete is quite powerful and complete out of the box and can be easily extended.
